Miley Cyrus Gets Boozy, Stoned, and Sexy in 'LOL'

Miley Cyrus Gets Boozy

Teen queen Miley Cyrus, who has made a fortune with her Disney show Hannah Montana and countless tie-ins, including a 3D movie of a Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus concert tour, is going to show us she's not just another pop star from the Mouse House. After her turn in the soggy Nicholas Sparks movie The Last Song, she's since gone on to release a "racy" music video for her single "Can't Be Tamed," which features a woman with a bird cage on her head as a hat and Cyrus as a winged sexpot being held in a cage who breaks out and wreaks havoc in a museum.

Her next stop on the "Screw You, I'm a Grown-Up!" tour is the movie LOL (Laughing Out Loud), which is based on a French movie of the same name. Both movies were directed by Lisa Azuelos, who wrote the screenplay for the French version and co-wrote the screenplay for this adaptation. I haven't seen the original, so I don't know if it's any good. Have you?

HollywoodLife.com has apparently seen a copy of the script (and PopEater has a snap from the movie), and it reads a bit like Thirteen mixed with Showgirls. In the film, Cyrus "loses her virginity, talks about sex incessantly, smokes marijuana, kisses one of her two best female friends on the lips, gets wasted and accidentally shows her mom, Ann, (Demi Moore) her Brazilian wax."

Meanwhile, Moore is saddled with lines like, "You're my daughter... And I won't let you turn into a porn star!"

Some are comparing this stab at a bad girl makeover to Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, and other Disney gals who went to their dark sides, but none of those gals had daddies like Billy Ray to make sure their achy-breaky hearts didn't stray too far from the fold. Is this all a family-approved move at making sure Cyrus stays relevant as she ages out of the Disney market? Is Cyrus talented enough to escape the long shadow of Hannah Montana?

Let's not forget that despite the unending legal and personal troubles, Lohan is actually a pretty good actress, and instead of reveling in the tabloid frenzy, some are actually hoping she'll eventually make a Robert Downey Jr.-like comeback. Does Cyrus have the chops to begin with -- or material that will give her the opportunity to show 'em off?

Kim Kardashian: LAVO Party Girl

Starting the weekend with a night on the red carpet, Kim Kardashian attended the LAVO two-year anniversary party in Las Vegas, Nevada on Friday (August 13).
Joined at The Palazzo Resort & Casino event by her PR pal Jonathan Cheban, the E! reality star looked stunning as she passed through the arrivals area before joining DJ vice in the deejay booth.
With fellow attendees including Molly Sims and Stephanie Pratt also on-hand, Kim tweeted during her fun-filled club visit, writing, "Wow playing Jodeci in the club. Lavo! Sexy!"

With only hours left to bid on eBay, the current price from the hot SUV is sitting at $47,300.00.

Charisma Carpenter is still a sexy mom and displays her bikini body for celebrity magazine In Touch Weekly. "I ate lobster with butter and three slices of cake — I was really indulgent!" Charisma Carpenter told the weekly entertainment publication while celebrating her recent 40th birthday while promoting The Expendables at Comic-Con.

"I love food too much to not eat and I don't want to be the angry, hungry girl." Whether it's eating or working out in preparation for her In Touch bikini shoot, the actress, best known for playing Cordelia on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and its spin-off Angel says she "doesn't do anything half-ass."

The report adds her attitude is why she's turning 40 with a smile — and snagging a plum role in the summer's most eagerly awaited action movie, with an all-star dream team cast led by director/star Sylvester Stallone, helps.

"I want Hollywood and America to know 40 is not old," she says. "As my mom told me, 'Charisma, welcome to the best decade of your life, because not only do you look as good as you did when you were 23, but you're so much smarter.' I'm now better in every way: I've had years to hone my craft. I'm better at acting, I'm a better mom, I'm a better friend. I'm just a more confident woman. It's awesome!"

Sexy NY Jets debut 2010 Flight Crew vs. Sans cheerleader Giants

As the New York Giants go head-to-head with the Jets in their first preseason game, one has to wonder if Giants fans miss having hotties on the sidelines?

"The Giants do not have a cheerleading squad," writes the Giants'. "We have always felt that the game should be the focus of the day of game presentation."

Though business-like, prepping for a season sans cheerleader squad seems boring. While the Giants go without, the Jets fans are bracing themselves for the 2011 Flight Crew calendar and getting ready to preview what their girls have been working on in the off-season.

See how the Philadelphia Eagles cheerleaders stay sexy-in-shape here!

"I really look for girls who are reliable, responsible and organized in addition to being beautiful, smart and great dancers," Flight Crew coach Denise Garvey said in 2010 pre-audition interview.

"Come on, I'm an NFL cheerleader," said 22-year-old 2010 flight crew member Jasmine. "How great is that?"

Check out the pic slideshow of the girls below and the videos from 2010 Flight Crew / New York Jets cheerleader training camp...

Jessica Alba: Sexy Smoker

Having just made her way out to the east coast, Jessica Alba multi-tasked as she chatted on her cellphone and smoked a cigarette after doing some shopping in the SoHo district of New York City on Monday (August 16).

Not wanting to send the wrong message, the "Into the Blue" babe quickly tried to hide her smoke as soon as she spotted the paparazzi - as she's recently been smoking more and more with insiders blaming the pressures of Hollywood as the cause.

Also making sure to keep her fit and healthy appearance, Jess spent the weekend working up a sweat during the First Annual Rising Stars of America All-Star Kickball Game in Santa Monica, CA on Saturday.

Held for charity and spearheaded by NBA star Baron Davis, Jess tweeted after the fun-filled festivities, "Great event BD! Thanks for everything RT @Baron_Davis: Shoutout to @cash_warren winner of the 1st Rising Stars of America Kickball MVP the Golden Boot is yours for a year..."

Sexy clothes sell for ovulating women

Sexy clothes sell for ovulating women

Without realizing it, ovulating women buy sexier clothes. That was the conclusion of new research from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management. And, the analysis concludes, the ovulating subjects weren't trying to attract men; rather, they were trying to look better than the women around them.

Women at peak fertility unconsciously choose clothes and other items that enhance their appearance, according to Kristina Durante, a post-doctoral fellow at the Carlson School and co-author of the study. "If you look more desirable than your competition, you are more likely to stand out," the school quoted her as saying.

She added: "In order to entice a desirable mate, a woman needs to assess the attractiveness of other women in her local environment to determine how eye-catching she needs to be to snare a good man."

The study's researchers showed ovulating women photographs of attractive local women and asked them to choose clothing and accessory items to purchase.

Most of the women chose sexier products than those who had been shown photographs of unattractive local women or women who lived more than 1,000 miles away. Women who weren't ovulating didn't respond in kind.

According to Durante, the research has practical implications for marketers because ovulation may profoundly influence women's consumer behavior. In addition to clothing, the products included shoes, fashion accessories, cosmetics, health supplements, fitness products and medical procedures.

The research will be published in a forthcoming issue of the Journal of Consumer Research.

Step into my office: Myleene Klass rocks the sexy secretary look

Ladies may want to take down some shorthand notes on how Myleene Klass has managed to master her latest look.
Because the former popstar appeared to be channelling a sexy secretary as she left studios on London's Southbank this morning.
The Norfolk-born beauty, 32, was wearing a pristine white summer mini dress, lashings of red lipstick, black-rimmed Fifties-style glasses and chunky blue and white satin bird print heels.
It's the second time in a week that Myleene has been spotted out sporting NHS-style specs.
The classical musician was seen out last week in some thinner-rimmed specimens, but today's milk bottle bottoms are for more Brains from Thunderbirds.
Rather than a briefcase however, the presenter carried a vast tan leather handbag, with a cheeky leopard print cardigan in case the weather took a turn for the worse.
However, the twist is, one will undergo the likes of plastic surgery and dentistry before their wardrobe is sorted out, whereas the other will have less-invasive procedures in a bid to roll back the years.
It will be Myleene's second series as the show's presenter. She took over from Nicky Hambleton-Jones amid rather ironic cries of ageism - Myleene is seven years younger than her predecessor - last year.
One of the faces of Marks And Spencer, Myleene is becoming quite the style queen nowadays following some dodgy outfits in her Hear'Say days.
She's also launched her own baby clothing range, inspired by her own daughter Ava, aged three.
Called BabyK, the range is for all tots aged up to three.
Perhaps Myleene will design another range for children as Ava gets older - or maybe even a collection for saucy office workers...

Katy Perry Covers Rolling Stone Magazine In Sexy Undies

Stripping down to nada is nothing new for Katy Perry, who bares it all while resting on a cotton candy cloud in the video for her scorching summer sizzler “California Gurls,” and on the cover of her upcoming album, Teenage Dream. But still, an almost-naked hot shot of the pop songstress can get tongues wagging.
Perry struts her seductive stuff in her undies on the cover of the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine, shot by photographer Marc Seliger.
In the cover story, titled Sex, God & Katy Perry, Katy opens up about her super religious and super strict upbringing. “I wasn’t ever able to say I was ‘lucky’ because my mother would rather us say that we were blessed, and she also didn’t like that lucky sounded like Lucifer,” she told RS. “Deviled eggs were called ‘angelled’ eggs. I wasn’t allowed to eat Lucky Charms, but I think that was the sugar. I think my mom lied to me about that one.”
The magazine hits newsstands this week.

Anna Fermanova PHOTOS: 'Sexy' Latvian Beautician Busted For Trying To Smuggle Night-Vision Rifle Sights To Russia

Fresh off busting up the Russian spy ring that included bombshell Anna Chapman, authorities have apprehended another attractive young woman with ties to Russia, this time for allegedly trying to smuggle night-vision rifle sights to Russia without a license.

Anna Fermanova, a beautician by trade, had been caught with $15,000 worth of accessories in her luggage when she checked in for a Moscow-bound flight at New York's JFK International Airport in March, but was allowed to continue her journey after the items -- a $7,000 Raptor 4X Night Vision Weapons Sight and two other night-vision devices worth $4,000 each -- were confiscated.

The Latvian-born Fermanova, who was arrested July 15 after she returned from Russia, is said to split her time between Dallas and Moscow, where her husband lives. She told authorities she'd purchased the scopes online for her husband's hunting activities and was unaware of any legal issues pertaining to their transport.

Fermanova's glamorous appearance and trim figure have drawn inevitable comparisons to Chapman, who was deported back to Moscow earlier this month. And like that case, Fermanova's supporters have been quick to shrug off the "femme fatale" title. "She's a nice Jewish girl who lives with her sweet Latvian parents," her attorney Scott Palmer told the Daily News.

Still, like Chapman, Fermanova's Facebook page is littered with scintillating photos that show the blond sipping wine with girlfriends and posing on a beach in a bikini.

"She is quite sexy, you could say, but she is not a spy," Palmer told the Dallas Morning News. He also declined to reveal the identity of Fermanova's husband, but said he has been involved in investment banking as well as imports and exports.

Vienna Poses In Sexy Bikini

The Bachelor winner Vienna Girardi got into the sexiest of bikinis for her visit to Disney World, and Radaronline.com has the photos for you. Jake Pavelka's former fiance' was visiting Mickey Mouse's home with her family, and took some time out of her trip to pose for photos at the Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.

It's a good thing she was in the water and couldn't make any phone calls, since as Radaronline.com recently reported she was denied the use of her old cell phone number by Jake.

He said he purchased the phone and opened the account for her when they were together. As Radaronline.com reported, on Monday Vienna called her wireless company, AT&T, in a final attempt to get control over the account. She was told that she needed Jake’s permission. AT&T then called Jake on Vienna’s behalf and received a flat no. Vienna eventually broke down and had to get a new phone number and wireless account.

Lady Gaga bares claws, soul at Monster Ball

Lady Gaga is a freak -- in the oddest, craziest, fiercest sense of the word.

The pop superstar espoused "freedom and music" Sunday night inside Toyota Center, the first of two consecutive sold-out shows. (She'll be back for a third in April.)

"I didn't used to be brave. In fact, I was not brave at all," Gaga told her screaming, sweating fans, many of whom had been in line for hours in the Houston heat and humidity. (The floor area was general admission.)

"A lot of people didn't believe in me. But you have made me brave now. Little monsters make me brave."

Indeed, her show was equal parts pop showcase and roaring call-to-arms. (Seriously, she often ended her exclamations with guttural grunts and roars.) Gaga frequently championed GLBT causes, urged young fans to love their parents and promoted self-confidence (in a parade of outlandish costumes, of course).

Neon-lit phrases -- "Sexy Ugly," "Injured Children," "Death Cases" -- decorated her stage. The show was constructed around Gaga's journey to the Monster Ball, from stalled auto to subway car to Wizard of Oz-esque finale.

Musically, she moved easily through basic dance-pop, from Dance In the Dark and Just Dance to Beautiful Dirty Rich, Vanity and an electric Lovegame (dressed as a naughty, haute-couture nun). She was in strong voice, and her dancing has improved since being on the road.

There were, yes, shades of Madonna in the aggressive stance, the parade of androgynous, athletic dancers and the outfits. But Gaga is a wholly different creature. She's more sensitive and is more engaging with her crowd. At times, she seemed almost on the verge of tears.

"I promised myself when I got on this stage, I would be more grateful than she was," Gaga said -- likely an allusion to her pop predecessor.

She talked frequently between, and sometimes during, tunes. Piano opus Speechless was peppered with tales of her drunk, lovable parents. She called a hysterical fan on the phone and promised to meet with her after the show. She shouted out all the "Houston gay cowboys," asked if the crowd thought she was sexy and earned the requisite boos after mentioning Dallas. (BOO.)

Crazy, sexy, cool

Call it a week of mixed reviews. Even as Toronto endured jabs from a Niagara Parks Commission advertising campaign — portraying the city as rife with vandalism, noise and stress — it was hailed as “the new capital of cool” by a prominent U.S. website last week.

An article in The Huffington Post praised Canada's largest city for its multiculturalism, splendid outdoor festivals, gourmet food, and thriving arts and music scenes. “Toronto is the hot new destination for all things crazy, sexy, cool,” it concluded.

Just as we Torontonians may have reacted a tad too defensively to the Niagara ad campaign, we should also take care not to cheer too loudly for kudos from an American source. Some perspective is in order. Ad campaigns and brief travel articles can't truly capture the complex character of this city and what it has to offer.

Also bear in mind that The Huffington Post has been criticized for the trivial nature of some of its coverage. For example, alongside the story about Toronto, the website's travel section also included an article on wearing “flying pasties” to “protect your dignity in airport scanners,” and a listing of the world's top 14 nude beaches.

Through some inexcusable oversight, Toronto's Hanlan's Point wasn't among them.

Former Teen Star Tiffany Defends Miley Cyrus' "Sexy" Image

In her 80s heyday as a teen pop sensation, singer Tiffany favored acid-washed jeans, sneakers, long-sleeved shirts and not too much makeup.
But that doesn't mean that she disapproves of today's much less modest generation of singing teen stars -- especially Miley Cyrus, 17, who has worn cleavage-bearing dresses and skin-tight bodysuits, danced on stripper poles and simulated lesbian kisses on stage.

PHOTOS: Miley's raciest outfits
"Miley Cyrus is on a great track," Tiffany, now 38, told UsMagazine.com at Saturday's EW Comic-Con party at Hotel Solamar in San Diego.

"I know that there are a lot of people that say well when you are so young you shouldn't be sexy," the "I Think We're Alone Now" singer conceded.

"I think that in today's world you kind of have to be [sexy]-- to be competitive in the market," Tiffany told Us. "I think that she is doing it appropriately. And it's always a fine line there."

PHOTOS: Other child stars who grew up fast

"But I'm a huge fan of hers. I think she's gonna have a long career," she gushed, adding praise to Cyrus' mom and dad, too. "Her parents are guiding her right, and it really matters what base you have around you. Very much so."

Although Tiffany stayed buttoned up during her teenage fame, she did pose nude for Playboy in 2002. She has a 17-year-old son, Elijah, from her first marriage, and has been married to second husband Benn George since 2004.

PHOTOS: Miley's fave look -- short shorts!

The 80s icon is attending Comic Con to help promote Mega Python vs. Gararoid -- the campy scifi flick in which she costars with her former rival Debbie Gibson.

"It was awesome!" she said. "We were always planning on doing something but I think people were expecting more of a musical… and it's not."

PHOTOS: See what your fave stars from back in the day are up to today

Although she and Gibson achieved pop success around the same time, the flick was their first time to bond. "I knew her, but we never really hung out...we have a fond respect for each other but I didn't know if we would end up being buddies."

"It's really nice to be able to say we are really good friends. Of course we always play up the cheeky side...we had the little catfight -- we were loving it!"
